All right.....Hometown Show!
SD phans......pipe in.....
Heather and I will be at the show as usual by Noon. Look for our new bus.....black and gold with FINS BUS plates pulled from our old bus. BNer's...stop by please.
Going to the NYC show in June, Vegas (when announced), and Boston so it looks like San Diego will be last of the year. Hoping for Hawaii, which we would go wheels up to see. Rumor of Catalina, keep your fingers crossed phans.
FINS UP!
Signing off from chilly Chicago on the way to Midway to fly home to OC.....brrrr.

Just got this e-mail from the SDPHC;
JIMMY BUFFETT SAN DIEGO CONCERT ALERT
While we have received no official notification from Margaritaville or Jimmy Buffett's Management Company, it appears that Jimmy will be at Coors Amphitheater on Thursday October 16. While he will be appearing in the bay area at Mt View on Tuesday October 21st, the October 16th show may be Jimmy's only appearance in Southern California. Tickets go on sale to the public on Monday April 14th. We do not have a price as of yet, although the average PHIP cost for concert tickets ranges from $130 to $136.

I think the more likely scenario is Irvine on Saturday the 18th - So SD on Thurs the 16th, up to Irvine on the Sat the 18th, then up to Mountain View on Tuesday the 21st. At least I hope that's what he does - So Cal needs more than one show!geekiegecko wrote:Makes the Oct 18th for Vegas look good. Now the question is....... the second weekend, the 11th or the 25th??????????

I went to Irvine last year and Coors the year before... it's a very similar experience - lots of room for RVs, drinkin', and plenty o' Parrotheads. Bring cups because sometimes the cops can be picky about bottles but other than that, it's a lot like any Jimmy concert - get there early because it fills up fast!
(And one thing I like better at Coors is the lawn seats aren't up a steep hill which kills half your buzz to get to the top... but yes, I'm just that lazy!)
