Bought a softball bat... did I get a deal, or ripped off?

Looks like I'm going to be playing in a competitive slow-pitch softball league for the first time in several years. Had to have a bat...
Required to meet ASA guidelines (98 mph), and I didn't want to spend a HUGE amount (there are a LOT of $300 bats out there!)
So, bought a lightly used Worth PST98 Search & Destroy. Supposed to be "legendary" durability with plenty of pop. Found one new for $309, but bought mine in good used condition for $140, including shipping.
So.... whaddya think? Good deal or did I get taken?

Depends on the condition usually bats start to lose their pop after two years

what Flocker said!!!!...how old is the bat...i never heard of the bat....I'm a Easton Synergy guy myself....also the Miken Freak..Easton also has a stealth the is pretty nice also....or some of the DiMarinis!!...is it a single wall or double....make sure it is legal...bats and leagues are always changing the regs. to protect the players!!...but for 140.00 it sounds like a good deal!!

Where can I sign up for the really, super super slow pitch? Do they have T-softball?

I remember when I used to spend hundreds of dollars on a new softball bat. Wonder what I could get for my old TPS's and DiMarini?

I believe the 98 has something to do with how fast the ball can come off the bat.
I think the bat is a 2006, but lightly used. This particular model is supposed to be the most durable double-wall bat ever made, but still has plenty of pop. Some good players reviewing it started with "I finally broke down and bought one (high price!) and I'm glad I did."
Thought about a DeMarini or a Miken, but man, high $$$ (wife prolly wouldn't go for Jimmy tix AND a high $$$ bat. )
So... I'm hopeful. Now, if I could just find my biceps... and my abs...
