What was your "label" in High School?

Post by Mottola-Buffett »

I was watching (God knows why) that High School Reunion show the other night and thought it was humorous how they labeled each person: "The Shy Girl", "The Jock", "The Backstabber", "The Popular Girl", "The Pipsqueek", "The Two-timer", etc. First of all, I wondered if the people on the show agreed to the titles they were given and secondly, JUST FOR FUN... what do you think your "label" would be if you were to be on the show High School Reunion???

See, these are the deep meaningful thoughts that run through my mind after 10:30pm.
Any takers on this mindless game of mine?

Hmmmm.......good question. The stuck up ones called me a "Burn-Out". Just because I hung out with everyone and didn't exclude people. The so called, "Burn-Outs" weren't full of judgemenatl bull***t. I liked that. I partied but not quite a burn out. Some would call me a loner of sorts. guess I am not clear cut on this. I tried. Who would you be? :wench:

Jock & Stoner!

I was on all the sports teams , plus I played in 2 Rock Bands (We partied pretty hard for back then).

Now it is funny I haven't even seen or talked to any of the High School Kids for at least 5 years. It is funny how life gets in the way.

I'd have to agree with Joe....I played football and hockey, so I was a jock, but we had a Dorm program and those are the people I hung out and partied with....so I'll go with Jock/stoner too...kinda like Pink from "Dazed and Confused"

Without sounding snotty, I think I'd be labeled as "The Girl Everybody Liked".... or, to put it as one of the ultra-cool guys in High School once said to me: "Lisa, You're the kind of girl a guy takes home to his parents." Needless to say, he never asked me out on a date!!! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

Okay Creeky, what's a "dag"?

I was a shy nerd. Beta Club just shy of NHS. Charter member of the "Quill and Scroll Society" for journalists. Never said a word in high school. Kids from my high school who went to college with me said, "She can talk!" when I decided to change my image. Haven't stopped yet!!!

fat, isolated, too smart, plus, in a school renowned for its music, I was the one who couldn't carry a tune!

Invisible or Teflon. No one ever noticed me doing anything wrong and the few times that I did get caught, nothing stuck!

I think I was everything at one point or another. A jock, a stoner, a nerd, a party girl, a slut.

I was the girl no one introduced to their parents.

I was a jock. If any of my teachers knew I was a lawyer now they'd probably die from the shock.
