Top 10 Passwords

Post by carey24 »

according to PC magazine:

10. your first name
9. blink182
8. password1
7. myspace1
6. monkey
5. letmein
4. abc123
3. qwerty
2. 123456
1. password

So basically the majority of the population is neither creative nor very smart.

President Skroob: [enters after the interrogation of King Roland] Well? Did it work? Where's the king?
Dark Helmet: It worked, sir. We have the combination.
President Skroob: Great. Now we can take every last breath of fresh air from planet Druidia. What's the combination?
Dark Helmet: 1 2 3 4 5.
President Skroob: 1 2 3 4 5? That's amazing! I've got the same combination on my luggage! Prepare Spaceball 1 for immediate departure!
Dark Helmet: Yes, sir!
President Skroob: And change the combination on my luggage!

My standard password for monkey accounts and free gaming/email sites is tunafish - I don't have a monkey account here. :)
For places where the password changes on a regular basis(work), its Aaaaaaa1. The letter changes each update and I write the letter on a postit on my computer.

My standard PIN is the extension of my college dorm.
Rub yours on me and I'll rub mine on you

when I was working for the union and was having a battle with the IT dept about them monitoring my computer, time came to change the longin password. changed it to robbrownisana----le.

you fill in the "-"s.

I am sure they were not amused, but I sure was. Rob Brown, head of IT, never said anything about it.
