I'm with ya.. I actually leave a week from tomorrow!!! I'm going to do both shows and just lay out by the poool all week at my timeshare and poke around town here and there!!! We're going to the show on the 25th and staying either at Hooters or Bally's. We have reservations at both and haven't decided yet. Bally's is closer to Margaritaville and Hooters is closer to MGM and costs less. (BTW, our first concert was Las Vegas, which is why we keep coming back like trout, I guess...
The concert pre-party starts with the street party - this is usually phun! They block off the street next to Margaritaville (anybody remember the start time?) and historically, once things end there a lot of us shuffle off to MGM via monorail for their party. That said, the MGM party s**ked big time last year - I think they've been going downhill every year - so not sure about this year. The nice thing about going the 2nd week is we get to see what worked for the pholks at the first show.
If you're in town, please join us at Margaritaville on Friday for Nadirah's show. You'll have a great time.

Welcome!!! Glad you are going to join us!! I hung out at the Maragritaville street party most of the afternoon. I believe it starts at noon!! After the concert we all went out by the pool at Hooters (which is across the street from the MGM) I think we might have gone there before the concert as well. I know most of the festivities the 1st week are held there. I will be the one wandering around with the silly golden retriever. Only 2 more weeks until I leave for LV. I have my tropical fish beach balls, and I stocked up on beads and leis the other day.
