The AZ Parrothead Club will be in the SW corner of the tailgate area, stop by and say hi! Ought to be a great time!
I'm still hoping to go....but haven't secured a ticket yet
It doesn't sound like theres much purpose to go without one....but if a miracle comes through (and I've got a few feelers working), I'll be sure to stop by the tailgate area.
I'm on here looking for tickets. Thought maybe someone might have an extra to sell. Doenst look that way - hot commodity. if I cant go, could someone at least post what they look like? thanks
I'll be there. Not sure what time but probably early - to get a place to park! Just curious - why are the passes so large?? It's not like you can put in your pocket or anywhere for that matter. Anyway, I'm glad that it will be on RM, for those that can't make it. Congrats to all that won already - that is great news!
See ya!
they're setting up the stage as i type. the stage is on the plaza just outside of the north entrance to the hockey arena. not sure how they're going to block off the plaza, but i imagine you can still get relatively close without a ticket. i doubt all the other restaurants will tolerate having access to their joints blocked off....
I'd feel bad for you, but I have no soul.....

I'm curious about that too - there really is no way to make it airtight...is there?

not that i can see. sure they can fence/screen off most of the plaza, but there's a big walkway around the second story restaurants opposite Mville. not to mention the first floor stuff east & west of mville on the plaza.

Well....based upon these reports, I decided today to head down without a ticket. The worst thing that could happen is that I have fun at the tailgate and miss the show (hoping this is not the case). Hope to see many of you out there tomorrow and look forward to a great party in Glendale!

Hey everyone,
I am friends with a guy who works there and the way it is getting set up is they are going to partition off all areas around the plaza and all areas behind it as well, it will still allow for foot traffic to go through to Fox Sports, Hell's Half Acre and all of the facilities behind the MV. At 2pm, the restaurant is being shut down to the general public but will remain open for people who have a ticket, then they are going to sweep the entire area, bathrooms, closets, holes in the wall, wherever to make sure no one without a ticket is in there. If you try and enter the plaza and do not have a ticket, you have to be going into one of the other establishments in order to even enter the plaza. That is lowdown on how it is being set up.
I will also be there to tailgate and enjoy the general debauchery since I did get a ticket from the AZ Parrothead Club!!!!!!!!
well on the sirius site, it says 'stripped down buffett', so there might be some visuals there to see, not just hear.
actually it says it will be an acoustic show. cut and pasted...
Hear Jimmy Buffett play at the Margaritaville Cafe in Glendale, Arizona, and Radio Margaritaville will make you feel like you're in the front row. It's a special acoustic show for people who have won tickets to attend. But your ticket is simply to tune in! Miles Hampton kicks off the pre-concert party at 6 pm ET, with Jimmy taking the stage about two and a half hours later. Be with us for this unique springtime show from Arizona's Margaritaville Cafe!
