I'm always amazed that they rehearse for most of the week, they're only in a few live skits, but still have to stare at the cards most of the time. I'd think even the non-actors could pull that off. I'm not expecting an Emmy-worthy performance on SNL, but still....

Sometimes the hosts are stuck doing a million of other things outside SNL during run throughs.

Well, you're not. Turned it off because it looked like Walken, who CAN deliver comedy sometimes, showed up at the last minute and said, "OKAY. Let's do this!"

The Family reunion was good though.

I consider that a "Walken signature" I always look for him to read that cards. He is THE biggest offender, but I still find it funny.
