East Troy ticket question
Has anyone received their Buffett tix for East Troy, Wisconsin yet that were ordered through Live Nation?

Anyone get theirs yet? I called again today..they said they were printed on March 11th and SENT March 24th...something is definitely wrong... at this point, looks like WILL CALL is the only option!! Which sux...because now we have to go to the show without tickets and worry about getting to the will call office an hour or so before the show to pick up our darn tickets!!!

I have not recieve some of mine either. A girl in my office ordered 4 from Live nation and recieved them a month ago, I have 2 sets of 2 that I have not recieved yet. I was told the same thing by Live nation. I think they may have a real problem. I hope they didnt have a big block of tixs stolen or things could get ugly at the show, and I can assure you I will be in no condition to make articulate arguments.

well, i was told that if they set up the tickets for will call, the other tickets will not be valid at all...if anyone tries to use them...they will be flagged and the security can take those people in for questioning....tequilajoe wrote:I have not recieve some of mine either. The will call thing though.... i have 6 tickets... normally, we pass out tickets before the tailgate because there is always a good chance we will not see eachother again until the concert...this assures we have our seats and can find eachother again..now everyone is going to have be responsible for getting to will call and staying sober enough to get their tickets....sigh.....not fun!

I requested info on mine again today and they gave me the exact same response I got a month ago, saying they were printed march 11 and shipped a week later. I told them I wanted mine emailed to me then and they refused and said they would arrange Will Call. My issue is that I personally am not going to the show, so if there's an issue then I won't be there.
I turned them into the Better Business Bureau today, so I'll see what happens there. In my opinion if I do not get them in the mail they are in breach of contract.

This is the response I sent them as well as the one they sent me.
This has seemed to been a national occurance. Buffettnews.com has a message board and every single person that got Live Nation tickets for Jimmy Buffett at Alpine Valley got the same response and has yet to receive their tickets.
I do not think they were in fact mailed out yet. A better explanation and reason would be better. Could you look into this situation a little more please?
How about reissuing my tickets. I have people coming from out of state that need tickets in hand to get into the parking lot. In years past they will not let you in unless you show a ticket.

Thank you for contacting us. I am sorry that you have not received your tickets. Your tickets were printed on March 11th and mailed out shortly after that in a plain white business envelope with nothing on the outside about the tickets, just a Crozet, Va return address.
If you have not received your tickets with in 72 hours of the event please contact us at 800.431.3462 Monday through Friday 10:00 am to 5:00 pm EST so that we can set up replacement tickets for you through will call at the box office.

Thank you for your reply. We are investigating this matter further and have found that all tickets for Jimmy Buffett's summer tour have been mailed out. We are aware that there may be a delivery issue for tickets purchased in the area and are further investigating this situation. We apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced and hope to have a resolution for this matter soon. If you have not received these tickets within 72 hours of the event, please call us at 800.431.3462 Monday through Saturday from 10:00am to 5:00pm EST so that we can have your tickets held at will call. By having your tickets held at will call, we can insure that you are able to enter the show with valid tickets. Once will call is set up, the barcodes on the original tickets that were mailed will be invalidated incase someone that is not authorized to have your tickets tries to use them at the venue. Again, we apologize for any inconvenience and hope to be able to supply any updates shortly.

To have 3000 or so people waiting at 2 will call stations will be a nightmare. I saw it first hand last year where it took people 2 hours to get their seats.
Please send out the tickets I paid for. Live Nation did not hesitate to charge my credit card the instant I bought the tickets. Now I have waited almost 2 months for them.
Please send them asap.
