All right just did Day 3 of the Wii Active 30 day workout and 30 min on treadmill. When I was done blood sugar was 72... Now just keep it up and hopefully by May Vegas trip, BR might look ok at the pool.

You have done an amazing job AT IT already, Paige!! 2010 will be even better!

THANKS!
Even if I never get the last 15 off I'll be pretty happy....it's weird for me to think that "I'm just a few pounds" overweight instead of the horrible "O" word.

You don't need to lose 15! But I wish you the best in your effort.

When our local Texas Music DJ/Personality was dying from pancreatic cancer, he fought so hard to keep going, and Jack Ingram came to do a cancer benefit for the community and Keep On Keepin On was his message. My best friend had just been diagnosed with breast cancer, and IS a cancer survivor.

Keep On Keepin' On

Sometimes you get beat up good
Drive yourself crazy being misunderstood
Sometimes you want to throw the towel in
But you come swinging like you just might win

Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Push it on down the line
Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Keep from gettin' further behind

Some days you wonder what it all means
Some nights ain't as bad as it seems
Sometimes you think you been had
Run yourself ragged in a world gone mad

Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Push it on down the road
Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Still got a ways to go

Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Push it on down the line
Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Keep from gettin' further behind

Some things ain't meant to be
The best things in life are free
And tomorrow is another day
Funny how the truth sounds so cliche

Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Push it on down the road
Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Still got a ways to go

Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Push it on down the line
Keep on, keep on keepin' on
Keep from gettin' further behind

Good job!

I never did get the Wii Sports and had not heard of Active 30 day workout. I'll have to get my great niece to help me go shopping for what I NEED, now that I have a TV in the bigger room. :)

YOU can do it!!
And just think how good your blood chemistry and blood pressure will be!

I've still got to work on that some!!! Good cholesterol 80!!! Yea. Gotta get to 200 total cholesterol...

MY "thing" on the FRIDGE is Just Say NO! (The doctor says to GET rid of the MILK...even the 1 or 2%!!!)

I have also put the worst possible photo up there...and then one when I was close to 130! Of course I was 25 then!!

Y'all know my motto. KEEP ON KEEPIN ON!!
I've done that, too. I think it helps.

Great song, I'll look for it and add it to my playlist. If anyone else has an inspirational music or just some music that gets you pumped up post that, too. It's one of the most important parts of my workouts.

It's been a while since I've posted here, but today marks day 365 without cigarettes. One whole year. Never thought I'd be able to say that.

So glad I felt like getting out today for a 3 mile walk in the neighborhood. It was so beautiful out, although cold.

My resolution is to buy all the groceries to cook right for the whole month of January.

Gonna toast in the New Year today and drink my Asti, but I'm OFF alcohol for a month to limit those extra calories. Then it'll be time to cruise from Galveston to Key West and Bahamas. Yea!

I'm motivated.

We did welcome in the New Year by partying with the family at this really cool ranch/party place. Hubby's nephew did a great fireworks display, we danced a bit and enjoyed a great bunch of people.

Mr. Mojito and I are trying to be heathy. I've given up Cokes. Might not sound like much, but I've lost some pounds ... we're eating more fresh. We both love sweet potatoes, and they seem to really cut down on the cravings. Smarter choices. We're riding the bike. I have a couple of new workout DVDs.

My right knee is pain free for the first time in months. It quit hurting a week after I gave up Cokes. Go figure.

Our goal is to be lighter and fitter by the end of the year. Easy does it and all that.
Gentilly ... 42 years is a long time to wait .... a Northeast Texas woman can hope.
My love is an anchor tied to you, tied with a silver chain.

The last time I had a craving for them was when I was in Key West for my birthday, but only because it was the first time I was back there since I quit, and every time I walked into a bar that I used to hang out at, it felt weird not having a cigarette. But the feeling passed in about 3 seconds. I do dream about it every once in a while though, usually when I'm stressing about something else, and when I wake up it takes me a minute to realize that I didn't really smoke, but just dreamt that I did.
