Oh...and cleaned house quite a bit!
All that stuff is good, incidental exercise. :D

I can't remember the last time we saw the sun, but at least it hasn't been freezing here.

Here's my latest picture comparison. Almost finished with the first round of P90X. I can't believe the increase in my strength, everything that I struggled with in the beginning has gotten a lot easier.

And I'll apologize for the beard, since it seemed to so unpopular here. I've gotten lazy with that, once I hit 200 I'll shave it off again and keep it off longer this time.

Thanks, I've ignored it for so long it's hard to get into a routine about keeping it cleaned up.

Ok, started my 2010 plan on Jan 9th with three binge days and the on Jan 12 with a very low calorie diet. I am doing the HCG program....(yes a shot everyday of hgc) today I am down 14 pounds.

I know the real key is when my 40 days are up....to do the maintenence. I know several who have done it and it is about 50/50 on gaining it back and keeping it off.

So far so good :D

Anyone ever heard of the Meridian Method.........something about tapping??? part of my protocal is to have some bio testing done and also go to classes on the Meridian Method. Wonder if I can tap tap tap to Buffett [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

I gained a little back after hitting 214, too. It's a hard time of year to stay down.

I'll put in my story real quick. I have a quick metabolism, but it is hard for me to gain muscle. I started at 135 just a few years ago, and Got up to about 145 early last year. I started bulking, and got up to 155 by mid summer, finally up to 175-177 by fall. That is where I am now, I'm back down to probably around 174-175. Mostly muscle. I'm trying to cut and eat healthier while mixing in some cardio. I'd be happy getting down to 7-8% bodyfat while keeping most muscle mass. So 165 wouldn't be a bad goal. I have hit my bench press up to 300 now for a one rep max, and the goal is to eventually get up to 350 bench. I'd like to get up to 185 next bulking season (fall, winter), and cut down to 175 of muscle with same bf percentage.

Beer gets in the way sometimes.... lol

I love hearing people's body transitions, everyone can do it, just set a goal and work for it. Hard.

That's great, congrats on your bench numbers, I used to be able to do that. But I also weighed about that much at the time.

Keep working hard!

Congrats to all who are keeping with the program so well. I'm like a dang yo yo!!! I'm gonna blame it on WINTER blahs!!

I did get this NEW PEDOMETER and I VOW to put over 10,000 steps on it each day!!

Less than $25.00

Image

What I love about this new ped is that it keeps track of how many aerobic steps you do each day for a week.
Sunday was a good day!! Already did 5376 today!

That's a great idea. I've been keeping track of every walk or run I've done since November of 2008. So far I'm over 760 miles with around 500 of that coming from running.

Awesome, Johnson!

I never added up last years miles although I logged 'm. Just got out of my routine when it got so cold around Christmas time. Eventhough I walked my little doggie friend, sometimes it was a short walk and home quickly.

I did 10,055 steps yesterday. Not very many aerobic steps. I think you have to walk without stopping 10 minutes before it counts as aerobic.

Today I'm at 6646, with only 1814 aerobic. It's hard to get all those steps in when I stay in the house. :( With chronic sinus problems, I'm not out in the cold much.

I know...waaaaaa! JUST DO IT!!

I'm loving my elliptical. I've been using it almost everyday since I got it burning 700-800 calories per workout.

Very cool, 10000 steps is definitely a lot to get in. Especially with the way the weather has been, if it wasn't for the treadmill I would have missed out on a lot of those miles.

My sister and her husband have an elliptical and they really like it too. I've never used one, there's a bunch of gyms around here that I've been looking at just to mix things up.

Great job, I need to pick up the pace a little to keep up with that. I am doing 2 miles a day on the treadmill and my Wii Active..
