Very cool.
Good to see you stop in for this thread SL. Who's that cute guy with you on the beach in your sigline photo? :)
I'm always here keeping an eye on all you WINNERS!

That was some dude who was playing for change. We jammed for a while, and then went skinny-dipping.

I was just going to bump this thread.

I've been swamped. Trying to upgrade to Windows 7, and I didn't have Vista on here, so I had to go and dig up all my programs to reinstall. I think I have the most important stuff on here for now.

I've been taking advantage of this great weather and running outside. I hadn't run at my place since last October. The last time I only did about a mile and half. I could barely make it that far. Now I'm running 3 miles around my place and thinking I'll probably have to start doing it twice.

I'm starting to see a lot of definition in my arms. Push-ups and pull-ups I'm doing great on them. I'm trying to get 100 push-ups a day, some days more, some days less. I have around a month left in my second round with P90X, I'm going to order Insanity and start that once I've finished.

I finally got out and played around a golf, wasn't great, but I'm hitting the ball a lot better.

And I'm down to 196, I'm hoping tomorrow morning that it's 194. :)

How's everyone else doing?

Maintaining is always great, and you have to love getting some sun. I'm finally starting to get some myself.

Thanks, I really appreciate that. And the feeling is definitely mutual. Everyone's hard work, from BN to other forums, facebook, my family and friends all the effort everyone has put in has been amazing. I've never felt like I'm fight the good fight on my own.

That's such a great report.

Yesterday I weighed myself and I was a staggering 251 lbs. I'm committed to losing 41 pounds by December 1st. That gives me about 6 months... 6.8 pounds per month. I can do it. I haven't been below 210 since I was about 26 years old. This is my first time to this thread, but you're going to be seeing more of me around here.

How's everyone doing? Johnson IS still on track. Way to go!!!

Wow, I really HAD too much fun at The Woodlands and Frisco seeing Jimmy and tailgating.

I was up 6 pounds when I got home on Monday...but have already gotten back to just 2 pound net gain since last Thursday.

I was surprised with all the standing and dancing the whole time during the concerts, I still had to put some effort into getting 10,000 steps each day...especially the days on the road...and with eating and drinking that much STUFF, I should have done MORE STEPS.

Tried to amend my carnivorous habits.
Made it nearly seventy days,
Losin' weight without speed, eatin' sunflower seeds,
Drinkin' lots of carrot juice and soakin' up rays.

Hey Nancy. I ordered the pedometer that you recommended. Until it arrives, my co-worker has one and is letting me use it today to see how many steps I walk in a normal day.

So far it's hugely embarrassing. It's 4:20PM and I've only walked about 1,200 steps. Of course, today isn't a workout day, so hopefully that will bring my average up, but wow. I had no idea just how sedentary I had become. I love my job but I hate being stuck in a chair alllllll day. I usually work about 50 hours per week, sadly.

Anyway, I'm going to schedule morning and evening walks just like you suggested. Could you suggest any cool audiobooks too?? LOL

Up six??? I find that hard to believe.... I was really surprised I was the same when I arrived home. Today I had a nice surprise I actually dropped another 2!!! You were the one that actually moved on that trip!!! Maybe my body just needed a break?? Welcome Mr Twain that Nancy will have you walking everywhere!!! Johnson keep up the good work!!!

I've been doing good.....two pounds from GOAL....UGH.
Been amping up the exercise....getting more walking in. Trying to fit in some yoga classes....but it's hard. Most of them start before I get off work.....and to get the late classes I have to join a gym....not ready to make that jump!

Will be doing some before/after pictures soon, my doctor asked for some for their portfolio!

Excellent work everyone!!!!!

Mr.Twain welcome to the thread, putting off reading it was one of the worst decisions I've ever made.

conched That's ok, we have to have some good times, those six pounds will probably come off no problem, or I should say those 4. :D

Grams Awesome!!! Sometimes those breaks do good.

pbans Excellent!!!! The last ones seem to be giving me a fit, but they'll come off.

Before and after pics are a great idea, :D

Here's my latest, from 384 to 284 to 194, I need to get those last 10 pounds so I can have my perfect 3 pics.

AWESOME photos!!!

Paige, YOU are doing great...almost THERE!

Mr. Twain, what a great reminder to listen to audio books. I used to do that many years ago when I had no time to read and exercise both...I do remember loving listening to Pat Conroy books....Beach Music was excellent. I also loved Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil. Pat Conroy has a new book out that I listened to just last year...South of Broad.

Heck, relisten to Jimmy's Salty Piece of Land....I love J. D. Southers voice.

Sitting on 8400+ right now, so I better get moving again before midnight. I have enjoyed the CMT Crossroads audio almost every day. I also listen to Radio Margaritaville on my iphone while I walk and have some concert replays on it too.

Linda, it was fun joking with Sandie about her company wellness tricks!!! Walking to see JIMMY was the best! Those stops at Buc-ees and Woody's Smokehouse and the fantastic room service order were just too good to pass up!

I'm back at it..

I was really happy with my progress last fall. The surgery in December has played havoc with my metabolism and I'm back up. Seeing the pictures from the FFF made me realize how much I had gained back.

I've got a goal to reach by August and I am determined to meet it! Hello Mr. Elliptical - you are now my best friend.
