Ok...so, the top one is from the 2007 Cinci show. The bottom one is from the 2010 Houston show. I know it's not the greatest before/after cause I'm wearing a sharksuit and everything...but, it was the best I could find without spending too much time searching. I'll take a better "after" picture soon and post it...actually, wouldn't it be more of a "between" shot since I'm only about halfway to my goal?

Most excellent!!!!

Incredible job so far.

Before, in between and after shots are all great for everyone's motivation.

We definitely could use more of you gals, classing up and making the thread sexier as opposed to that ugly b*****d that keeps posting his.  :pirate: :pirate:

week 1 update....

I'm down 2 lbs. Happy about that. :D

Getting into my routine of getting up and doing 30 min on the treadmill before work and then doing 45 min combo of treadmill and elliptical after work.
I must be wishing on someone else's star....

Summer is here and I did not make goal but no one to blame but me :-?. I always tend to stray when I get close, seems I lose all week and can put it all back on in a weekend and I think we have at least 3 out of 4 weekends planned out until November! Oh how I love my weekends. my goal was 44 pounds and I have been as close at 38.5 but keep bouncing back to about 33.5......Today I am at 33.7 down :-?
I just need to get in the mind set again and limit alcohol, stay away from starches and sugers........and I need to exercise again. During the dieting phase I did not exercise at all ( I know.....weird diet) and it is hard to get back into it!

Paige CONGRATULATIONS on reaching goal!

Everyone else, thanks for the encouraging stories! They keep me going!

Here are a few progress photos....January 13, 2010 -> May 14, 2010 -> May 27, 2010

And in my sig line is a pic of me with Uncle Jim from FFF III and then with one wit Don and another with the Fin at FFF IV.....from that you can see how much I gained and lost over a year!

Awesome!!! There's something about that last few, I get close and think, damn I'm almost to my final goal. What do I do after that. I've put off a lot of stuff, to completely focus on losing weight and getting into shape, and once I do that, I have to start living. I wonder if I'm ready to do that, but then I realize, absolutely I am and focus and push harder to reach my goals.

I just have to remember why I'm doing this and how much I want it and then the weight seems to fall right off.

And you will figure out ways to work for you!!

The first thing I check out now in the hotel is the exercise room. I also use the stairs a lot, unless I feel like they are unsafe... :-? Make several trips to the car and back instead of loading it all up at one time. ;)

When making stops on the road, at least every two hours, I walk around as much as I can. Even on the flight to Paris, I managed to get up and walk around as inconspicuously as possible. Don't use those moving walkways in the airport. Avoid sitting and waiting any time you have to wait. Park a little distance away from where you are heading.

Using this site to help me out, it's surprising how many calories you consume in one day if you count them!
