I did pretty good today here too.
Had a pop tart, couple slices of pizza, a fish filet from McDonalds, a couple of Slim Jims and grilled a piece of chicken on the George Foreman Grill.
I lifted weights, did 225 crunches and ran on the treadmill too.
Oh, and I just downed a brewski.

so, here's a ? for all the former-fatties. how much exercise did you do in the beginning? every day? every other day?
i feel like if i don't do it every day that i just won't do it at all. once i stop thinking that way, i'll start alternating cardio days with weights days. thankfully the treadmill also has the arm-mover thingies like an elliptical, so i do get some upper body work while i'm walking.
with as much water as i'm drinking, i think i can pee out about 10lbs by tomorrow morning.
i'm askeered about tomorrow. i was thinking i wouldn't get in a workout because i'm going on a girl scout overnight, but i'm just going to do it in the morning before we leave rather than skipping it. i really have to give myself no excuses. we'll be back saturday afternoon so i can get my saturday evening run in. i think i might make sunday a true day of rest.
hubby hasn't even really been doing this with me. he still has to eat a lot of wheat/carbs because he is being tested for the same disease as victoria (as irony would have it, we think he has the same genetic disorder as his daughter to whom he is actually not even blood related).

This was my myspace blog for today:
ONE MONTH Post Op!!
Current mood: grateful
Category: Life
April 18th......hard to believe that a month ago I was in a recovery room looking like a stabbing victim!
It's been a month a self-discovery, that's for sure.
I've gone out to eat a couple of times and have found that it is truly possible to leave food on my plate....WHAT A FREAKING CONCEPT!
I've found that my body really can survive on a lot less food than I used to shove in to it....and that QUALITY over QUANTITY really does go a long ways towards satiety!
I've learned that there is a difference between FULL and NOT HUNGRY. Eating until I was FULL was what got me here.....eating until I'm NOT HUNGRY is what is going to make the difference!
I'm happy to say that I'm down 24 pounds.....probably could have pushed it to 25 if I'd clipped my nails and taken out my earrings. I'm feeling better than I have in such a long time. I checked my blood pressure the other day and it was pretty low, I suspect very soon I'll have to go in and see the doctor and ADDRESS THE POSSIBILITY of changing or discontinuing my BP meds! What a difference just that amount of weight can make!
I haven't had any adjustments done to my band yet.....I'm still feeling pretty comfortable where I'm at. I get hungry, but seems like it's at regular intervals and manageable....don't want to mess with anything until it's really necessary.....maybe another two or three weeks...time will tell!
Spring is in the air and it's a wonderful time for all of these changes. I am anticipating that this summer will be so great. Haven't been back on the bike yet, but do think even that will be more fun!
I want to thank all of my friends that have supported me, encouraged me and just been there for me......I know there will come times that I will need you all....so just a HUGE THANK YOU!
Life is good!

Please , please be careful with your mixes. Caffine and clenbuterol can be harmful. Before you do this go see a doctor. Please stop taking them until you do. Basically you are over working your heart with the combination of the two. The whey protein is actually not that bad. I am against Creatine my own opinion. However please cycle that too. Too much is harmful to your liver. By the way Clenbuterol is not made for a fat burner it was made for respiratory problemskeynorthwestprthd wrote:I have been working hard at getting healthy, I am sick of being overweight. The supplements I am taking are; Whey Protein, Multivitamins, Creatine, Caffine Pills, and I am on a cycle of Clenbuterol (note: Clenbuterol is illegal, but its a amazing fat burner) Getting healthy and losing weight is very important to me at my most I used to weigh 410 lbs. but I quit eating fast food and became more active and that dropped to 315 lbs. then I started going to the gym and dropped to my current weight of 315lbs. I want to drop all my fat then build up muscle mass. I still got a long journey.

mal about the exercise it all depends on the person and their goals. A beginner usually three times a week until one is comfortable with it.buffettbride wrote:so, here's a ? for all the former-fatties. how much exercise did you do in the beginning? every day? every other day?

Clenbuterol is a stimulant drug used in some countries to treat asthma, but is only available (legally) for use in horses in the United States. Often called Ventipulmin, Spiropent, Novegam and Oxyflux. People who use this drug , which it is , in excess will experience a rapid, possibly irregular heartbeat and other side effects like feeling and looking flush. With the combination of the caffeine pills is very scary.Ukulady wrote:What is Clenbuterol and creatine?Capt.Flock wrote:Please , please be careful with your mixes. Creatine is an acid the occur naturally in the body which helps supply energy to muscles and nerve cells. This actually many uses of creatine for medical uses. However for this thread , the use is manly for to help gain muscle mass. Creatine came into the limelight in the early 90s. Many studies show that use of it for short periods of time ( must be cycled ) is reality safe. One of the side effects is muscle cramping which can be help with extra water intake.
I am not against creatine if use in the proper way. It really does work if a person uses it correctly. I just have not done it.

Of course, it's a respiratory med....clenBUTEROL. Couldn't take it, can't do speed at all, no caffine in my coffee. An eight ounce diet coke everyday with lunch is all I can handle. Hey, KWNPHD, do you take your blood pressure a couple times a day? Also what's your resting heart rate?Capt.Flock wrote:Clenbuterol is a stimulant drug used in some countries to treat asthma, but is only available (legally) for use in horses in the United States. Went on a field trip with my son's kindergarten class today. They went to an outdoor center and we went hiking. The first hike was an hour and thru very wooded and hilly terrain. Very cool to see all the first signs of spring. It was great fun stepping over fallen trees and little streams. Up and down fairly steep hills. It was a real adventure and a challenge for the kids and adults. The second hike was much shorter and more of a flat walk. I was thrilled to get in about 2 hours of moving. Very small breakfast...V-8 fusion and a special K bar. Lunch...roast beef sandwich with a slice of cheese, water and the "bad" part....4 brownie bites.

I would suggest trying Muscle Milk Light (ready to drink). Your body can only absorb 20 gms of protein at a time. And this one is also low fat. You need to eat because if you just drink your meals, you are not developing good habits. It takes 3 months to really develop or change your habits.
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Pinot Noir in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming "WOO HOO"
