Before I forget, thanks to KD Moore. We were hanging out at the Glass House Friday afternoon before going over to the park for the Phest. KD pulled into the parking lot, got out with a stack of CDs in his hand and started passing them out. I asked how much I owed him and he said "You're going to get me a beer later." He wouldn't take any money.

KD is a great guy, and his 'Beachcombin' CD is wonderful!

I assume he was drinking Bud Light as usual!

My memories of Friday night are a little fuzzy but I think that's what he was drinking.

. .* * standing ovation from the Balcony ( Girls ) . . * *

. . Key West Phest is my absolute favorite festival . . and Cory, her family, the Glass House Inn and PHC make it a perfect 10 every time . . .! !

. .not enough can be said for how well this is planned and presented . . I would love for all of BN to come to the next one. . ! !

. . talk about bang for your buck. . . . the festival is FREE . .unbelievable music and activities. . a perfect setting . . plenty of room . . lots of choices on great food, etc. . .

. .but the VIP tent opportunity was over the top . . .! ! . . where else can you get a Festival t-shirt. . yummy food, and plenty of it . .endless beer and beverages . . and the ever desirable chairs and overhead protection from the elements. . all for $35 . . ! !

. .again, my absolute favorite festival . . ! !

. .yep. . I'll be back . . and I hope with about 50+ more of my favorite BN'ers. . ! !

 :D

And if you're a child of the '60s and want a tie-dyed t-shirt instead of solid colors, it's another $5.

I went with the tie-dyed. Radical child that I was. 8)

Thanks to the Presque Isle PHC for a fantastic event. It's a ton of work to put all of this together, and you did a great job. Food in the VIP tent was excellent, much more than we expected. We had a blast on Saturday, hopefully next year we can make Friday, too.

. .another of my favorite memories was visiting with Fingers after he played with K.D . . and then again with The Key West Express. . .

. .during the show, I saw him saying to the very pretty and talented female singer ( I forget her name . . ) . . . " this feels good . . ! ! :D " . .

. . he truly enjoyed performing and it showed. . FINGERS CAN STILL ROCK THE HOUSE . . . ! !

. .it was such a good feeling to see him playing his " harp " out . . and we were glad to make our appreciation known . .

. . I remember gettting a bit teary eyed during Coast of Marsielle (sp) . .

. .sigh . .

. very cool, Caly . . ! !

. .was great to finally meet (n/m) you . . don't you agree that this would be a fantastic BN type of phlocking. . ? ?

. . I/we kinda got weary of the " pushin and shovin " part toward the end . . so didn't make the Meet and Greet . . but that's ok . .still a most WONDERFUL time . . ! !

 :D

A most mysterious calling harbour
So far, but yet, so near
Where I see the day
When my hair's full gray
and I finally...disappear. BUT NOT YET!!

DAMB, I wish I coulda been there. I went in '06 and it was a *grand* event. Sounds like nothing's changed, except maybe for the better. Hoping to get there next year!
