They filled 2,500 TONS OF SAND in the whole pool area for this special concert.

The Flamingo Las Vegas has been transformed into a Parrothead Paradise as Jimmy Buffett opens his Margaritaville restaurant with a special free concert and party. The performance takes place in the eight acre Flamingo pool area where Jimmy Buffett and The Coral Reefer Band will play for 6,000 fans in an outdoor festival complete with palm trees, tiki huts, barbeque pits, and Margaritaville stilt walkers.

In order to accommodate the thousands of Buffett fans, the Flamingo Las Vegas has filled its main swimming pool with 2,500 tons of sand to create a prime viewing area of the 1,600 sq ft stage where Buffett will perform.

Margaritaville is a multi-level entertainment venue offering two outdoor patios overlooking the Las Vegas Strip, a tropical-themed restaurant, five distinctive bars, live entertainment nightly (both indoors and outdoors) and a 3,000 square-foot retail store.
