ANYONE SEEN PURE PRAIRIE LEAGUE LATELY?

Post by Tampico »

I was wondering if anyone has seen PPL in the last few years. They are playing this summer at a Folk Festival I go to every year in New Hampshire and I'm curious what they are like live now. Since they are the friday night headliner they will probably do a 90 minute set. They released a new CD a couple of years ago that wasn't too bad but I wonder how much of their back catalog they play live.

I'd like to see PPL now. One of my fond concert
memories was of Pure Prairie League with a young
Vince Gill as their lead singer at Club Casino in
Hampton Beach (NH) back in 1981. A great show and
you could tell Vince was a future star in the making.

I have, they are the Goshorn Brothers and they play around the Greater Cincinnati area. www.goshornbrothers.com

Most of the gigs are Tim and Larry as a duo however, they currently have 2 dates for the full band.

June 1st Madison Theater in Covington KY
Sep.16th Great American Ballpark

They do play a little of their old stuff.
