Post by Volcano5270 »

How many people like Jimmy's new song called We're Still Here? I think it was a song that you can get to here alot and it was a good song too.

Just a quick listen so far.
(Senator Pullman put the show up for easy download in the 'Concert Trading' section.)
It seems pretty OK. Not too complex or anything and it seems to have a 'Here We Are' vibe to it. Not bad. Time to give it a few spins, as we used to say when LP's inhabited the Earth.

As always, if anyone is looking for a show I have, check out my list in the 'Concert Trading' section. All you need is the AOL Instant Messenger program (and no fire wall) and I can shoot you over an entire show of mp3's. I'm at DoctorDuk. Hit me up and LMK what you're interested in!!

We're Still Here ~ World Debut

Song #7 from tonights set list from Houston.

I thought it was fun, funny, nice beat and you can dance to it. ;) I enjoyed it, and the lyrics. :D

Saw the thread, came here for the download.

Thought it was OK, but a similar theme as Here We Are. But a more upbeat tune. Actually, I guess Here We Are was more about the fans, We're Still Here was more about his own career path.

So 2 posters on here were not impressed? I guess Jimmy needs to go back to the work table and fix it so you both are happy.

I would guess he is sitting in his suite right now working on it to make you happy. Oh, whats that? Nevermind, he is counting his money and the smiles on all the people he made happy tonight at his show.

Actually, I doubt either one of them were complaining, just posting their opinions.

I don't mind the song, some of the lyrics were fun.

He''ll make it better as the year goes along. It is a work in progress as are a lot of his songs at first. Remember the first recording of fruitcakes? It was fine, but not the upbeat concert version that he has morphed in into the kickass song he does now. I like that he keeps most of the ballads clear and mellow, but the song that have a potential to really move, he lets go. Now, come on Larry, tell us what you really think, let me really have it.....
