Parrothead Cruise 2009 - "Off to See the Lizard"
Presented by the Atlanta Parrot Head Club
Déjà, déjà, déjà vu: The Carnival Legend will be our home at sea for the third time as we set sail on our 11th annual phlocking. We'll be Off to See the Lizard on Sunday, March 15, 2009. We'll depart from Tampa, FL and visit Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; Cozumel, Mexico; Belize City, Belize and Roatan, Honduras. We'll return on Sunday March 22, 2009. We'll have a great lineup of Parrothead entertainment and activities and you can always count on a few surprises.

Parrothead Cruise Waiting List and Raffle information
Response for Parrothead Cruise 2009 has been overwhelming. We have already reached our registration limit of 550 pholks (and then some) and are SOLD OUT. Registration is now closed.
There are still two ways for those who haven't registered to come along with us:

Win a Private Balcony Stateroom for Two!
We are holding a raffle to win a room for two including all taxes and fees. We will sell a maximum of 250 tickets for the raffle.
Tickets are only $50 each, or five for $200
To purchase raffle tickets, send a check to:

Please make your check payable to "The Atlanta Parrot Head Club". Please include your name, phone number and email address along with your check. Good Luck! The drawing for the winner will be held on December 4, 2008. All net proceeds from the raffle are donated to the cruise charity.

If you were unable to register you may join the Parrothead Cruise 2009 waiting list. Waiting list positions require a $100 per person deposit. There are two ways to join the waiting list.
By Check: Send your name, address, email address and phone number, along with a check for $100 per person to:

Waiting List Procedures:
A position on the waiting list does not guarantee you a registration on the cruise. The waiting list will be first-come, first-served, based on receipt of your deposit. The cruise will be limited to 475 registrants. The cruise was initially oversold in anticipation of expected cancellations. If the number of registered cruisers falls below 475, the next person(s) on the waiting list will be offered the position(s). We will make every good faith effort to contact them. They will then have 48 hours to respond and register before the offer expires and the vacancy is offered to the next person on the list. Registration will be finalized on or about December 10, 2008. If a vacancy was not available for individuals on the waiting list the deposits will be returned.
