Sail on Larry Beard

BEARD, LARRY W. SR., 59, of Louisville, died Thursday, April 24, 2008. He was a retired pipe fitter after 40 years out of Local 522 and an Army Vietnam veteran with the 173rd Airborne serving two terms. He was a member of the West Point American Legion and the Virtual Parrothead Club. He also had a love for the Florida Keys and all music. Survivors include: Prissy; sons, Larry Beard Jr. (Cindy) and Herbert Frank Beard (Camron); sisters, Pat Williamson (Joe), Barbara Poole (Jerry) and Judy Bosler; grandchildren, Bethany, Breanna, Blake, Alexia and Trenton Beard and Chase and Chelcee Vincent; special friend, Jeanie Adams; and many friends. Services will be noon Monday at the Hardy Valley Funeral Home, with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy to any veteran's organization.
