I started my pub crawl in August of 07. I hit Florabama, The Pink Pony, The Original Oyster house and of course Lulu's in gulf shores. Last week I added B.B. Kings Blues Club, Silky O"Sullivan's, Rum Boogie Cafe in Memphis. B.B. was awesome ad Beale street has a great vibe to it.
Any suggestions where to next?

Try Austin Texas....go down to 5th street and do all the Blues clubs.....did it back in 2001....was awesome
You could also do the Florida Keys.....some great bars starting in Key Largo and they stretch all the way to Key West....Alabama Jacks, The Fish House, No Name bar, Cabots, Holiday Isle Tiki Bar are all places I stopped on previous trips down to Key West.....once in Key West, there are places of legend

, Capt Tony's, Hog's Breath, Sloppy Joes, The Green Parrot.....I'm sure others on here can add to this list
Have fun!!!

I was heading south from Dallas to San Antonio in 1993, and stopped but never made it past 6th street. Shakespears and Maggie Mays were deadly.

small place........
BUT my favorite place in Austin is the Driskill balcony after JJW's birthday bash!!!! You NEVER know who you'll find there to share a drink with. Like Kinky, Ray Wylie Hubbard. Of course me and BAB
and then back in the days The Armadillo - that was the ONLY place to go!!!

There is a local group for me that does pub crawls every 6 to 8 weeks.
www.pubcrawl.us (Pittsburgh). They have gone to other close by cities: DC, Cleveland and a few others not to mention Ireland. Check it out... They are also listed on
www.meetin.org (Pittsburgh) Frank is the ring leader. We get drink specials and a few other great things.
Last year they joined forces with
www.barsmart.com (Pittsburgh) and have been doing prizes at bars as well. One event last summer, plane tickets were given away.
Okay I'm going to work...
