If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.
Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
Life is short, live long!!
I'd rather be a wiseass than a dumbass.

Thank you. I know the storylines may seem to meander sometimes, but I've usually got an idea of where they'll end up. I'm learning a lot about "what works" and "what doesn't work", and how I should lay out my "plot". I'm finding that the hardest part is laying the foundation for where the storyline is going and still trying to make each day's individual strip entertaining in its own right. It's not always easy and I know somedays the individual strip kind of lays out there a little flat. I really hope we keep building readership and that we keep getting participation. Some of the best feedback I'm getting is seeing both old hands as well as newbies joining us here at BN.docandjeanie wrote:![]()

Add me to the LOL list!!!
Today's strip is hilarious!!!
And don't worry about the strips where you're laying the groundwork for the storyline -- some days you just have to get the basics down so that it all makes sense and then the laughs at the end are even louder!!
Thanks for all your hard work and sharing of your talent!!

It's amazing what a few animals, a baby(noobie) that believes boobies are the answer for everything, and some great inside tidbits can do for the site. For me it's brought a part-time BNer back to being a full-time BNer.
Any ideas, I'll send them your way!!
just tryin' to get by being quiet and shy...

You mean boobies aren't the answer? I beg to differ....tgr8one wrote:surfpirate wrote:Thank you. I agree......half the fun is trying to figure out where the story is taking you and the build-up makes for bigger laughs in the end. It's sorta like listening to a fairly lengthy, really funny joke, rather than a simple one-liner.....although those can be pretty good, as well!Jollymom21 wrote:Add me to the LOL list!!!
