Anyone going to Jack Johnson at Blossom? Skipping Buffett this year and trying something new and different. I'm trying to sell four pavilion seats for Pittsburgh by the way. Any input as to the atmosphere at a JJ show, tailgating, open containers etc. How is Blossom when it comes to that?

Tailgating at Blossom ? Only if you want a open container ticket. They are very strict!!!!!! The only real tailgate that I have seen them let go on,was for a JB show. And then they had undercovers in parrothead garb handing out tickets. Good luck on the tail gate. When we go to a blossom show my wife or my buddies wife does the driving & the rest of us do our tailgating at home before we go.

I saw Eric Clapton there just about 2 weeks ago. The venue is really nice, but if you don't get the premier parking, you're gonna be sorry. It took forever to get out of the lot after the show.

Saw Jack in April and came away impressed. He's not a show man but his music and the vibe of the crowd were awesome. I look forward to seeing him again. For me, he's the closest thing to Jimmy's successor.

if you're interested in Jack at all, you've got to get yourself to this show. Saw him at Apline this past weekend and it was packed. I think Jack was almost a bit intimidated by the size of the crowd and who could blame him. At one point he even said 'They told me it was going to be like this, but I wasn't too sure'
He's not going to gab between songs much, but he work through the collection very well and got a good response from the show. It was very mellow, but very good. "Better Together" solo for the last song of the night was great...
I might just buy a plane ticket to Mainsfield to catch the show later this year.
