Any Ideas on How to Trade Tickets?

I'm trying to pull off a blockbuster trade of JB tickets with another phan who does not live near me. I live in Virginia, the other ticketholder lives in Eastern NY, and the event is in Massachusetts. With this much geography between us, is there a reasonably secure way to pull off the swap? I'd like to hear of any experiences other PHeads have had ...

Careful!!! I bought tickets from a PHAN last year in Boston (Nice Guy in a suit). Met us in front of the Commonwealth Brewery, sold us 4 tickets, BOGUS!!! They looked real.I even had his office phone #. I threw it away after we picked up the tickets. It may not have been his fault? He may have been reselling tickets he bought from someone?
It really bites partying in the parking lot alll day only to get shut out of the show. If you make to Great Woods you will have a great time. GOOD LUCK!

My experience has been good. First you have to kind of trust each other, but also use a traceable insured mail. This way if anything happens enroute your at least covered for the money. If the delivery was made you have a signed document for evedence. And if you use a restricted or registered restricted mailing it can only be signed for by the addressee. Although these can get expensive, but that would depend on how much value you put into your tickets. Sometimes it's worth a little extra cash for added security. As far as getting bogus tickets, I would make sure you know the other party has a legit residential address, no P.O Boxes ( I work for the post office and can tell you it's damned near impossible to track someone through a P.O.Box espescially if they rent it short term). Check a phone book and see if they are listed. Then at least you can takes some legal action if they turn out bogus. Unfortunately this still screws you out of a concert. To keep from getting screwed at the last minute, as soon as you get your tickets take them to the venue box office and have them checked, they can tell you if you got the real deal or not.
