NBC's Meet the Press anchor Tim Russert has died

... as reported on the New York Times website under breaking news.... he died of a heart attack.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

New York Post broke the story, as far as I know who first reported it. All other media are now reporting it.

I knew Tim personally and worked with him on several occasions at NBC

He always treated everyone, no matter what their position in the company, with respect and kindness

This is a sad day not just for NBC, but for the television news world as a whole

What fun he had covering the primaries this year!

As a political junkie, and one who grew up loving Meet The Press, I am incredibly sad that this man has died so young. He loved his family, and he loved politics, and this saddens me tremendously!
