Yup, this has been big news out here. He's actually starting out a few weeks later than planned since a few days before his original departure since they decided to haul out the engine and replace it with a new one and do a few more things.

As one who grew up reading the adventures of Robin Graham in the book The Boy Who Sailed Around the World Alone (later made into a movie called The Dove), I wish Zac well on his adventure. Have a safe and wonderful journey. I'll be following his trip on his blog.

I still have the book....I think I got it when I was 9.
