If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

Well since Duckett was the one who spoke the words,
"We're puttin the band back together" I guess that would make him Jake.

Marnin!! Would you please ask Jimmy to play Nautical Wheelers at Jones Beach? [smilie=battingeyes.gif] :wench:

Clever, clever! (anyone remember Wolfman Jack?)

Image

I'm sure everyone had their local favorite DJ.

From San Antonio, TEXAS, ours was Ricky Ware on KTSA!! Ricky Ricky Ricky!!

And just recently old Steve Coffman on KTXN in Victoria. GREAT guy who has passed on...

Image
Steve is far right and next to him is son June Bug.

Ahhh. the good old days...and we love you, MILES!!

I do. Didn't he also have a roll in American Graffiti.

Yes he did towards the end of his career.....he set the pace for many DJ's. Anyone remember Charlie Tuna on 93 KHJ in L.A. in th 60's and 70's. He's now on K-EARTH 101 an oldies station in L.A.

Hank Hill : Just in case I'm incapacitated for some reason, do you know how to start a man's heart with a downed power line?

Bobby: No.

Hank : Well, there's really no wrong way to do it.

Our WCCR dj is also inspired by our own Marnin Grita Guy as well.

Maybe we can get Miles informed/inspired/involved as a BN Critters fan as well.
That gets us one step closer to getting Jimmy to read our strip. :D
You don't think Jimmy's already chuckling away with the rest of us every day?

There was a band in Chicago "The Good Times Band" that did such a good Blues Brothers impersonation they were endorsed by John Belushi's widow...

They would usually start the show by coming in handcuffed from a Squad Car... but they had the act down pat....

Wonder if any of them have heard of this....

BTW in case ANYONE's Interested, the Blues Brothers is NOW available for rent or download on iTunes :D

Haven't seen them, but saw the Blooze Brothers at Navy Pier last summer. Played a wide variety of stuff, horn section, great show.

My brother (whom some of you met in Chicago last year) plays with Da Blooz Brothers, who are actually brothers....

when he's not in a Elvis Tribute band or doing his own Rod Stewart show...
