They got some pretty good bondafides! :o

Blues.... hmmm.... wonder if they'll bring one of the best blues harp players in the world along with them for these particular gigs.... Wouldn't that be just too cool! :D

But they do need to learn to spell "Buffett".... :o

I am no big fan of opening acts. I know, I know, how are others suppose to get their start..but I just want to hear the man.

I agree. I'm not a big fan of opening acts, either. It kinda breaks the flow from parking lot to JB concert, and resetting the stage, even the little that goes on, gives everything a rushed feeling. I'd rather see the "opening act" play on a side stage inside the venue.

Although I suppose Eagles fans had similar comments about some opening upstart named "Jimmy Buffett"....

Right, there's nothing like the anticipation that builds and the rush from parking lot to show time..especially even closer, from Marley to Hot, Hot, Hot..Now we gotta bore down then get amped again.

Think of it this way, it will give you one last chance for a wiz since there are no intermissions this year. :P

If Bubba is giving them a shot, the least that they could do is spell his name right on thier webpage. Anyone know what time they are taking the stage in Chicago on Thursday?

I don't think they are opening for Jimmy. It looks like they are just playing a side stage before the show. This happens at most venues and it is how the artist sells it. There is no info on M-ville, and not to mention they can't spell Jimmy's last name right!

And there are just some bands I don't want to see have an opener. Bands like Buffett and Phish do what they do so well why take away from that. These are names so big they sell out 40,000 seat amps in less then 20mins. They need an empty stage so they can fill it 100%!
