I thought of Kenny Rankin ... they were best buddies ... they toured together and evidently shared a lot of recreational drugs ... When I interviewed Rankin last year, Carlin had just died and he was devastated.

I've been watching some Carlin stand up dvds at work when it's slow.
I wonder if his sun god theory turned out true. It made sense.

I stocked up on interviews including a 3 hour plus "Archive of American Television", NPR, Charlie Rose and more stuff...

So I'll celebrate his work all week.
