NE Parrot Heads/ Grace Potter

Post by drunkpirate66 »

I know I preach about the Chicken Box alot . . . but seeing as how it is as cool a place to see some live music that I know of in New England I thought I would give a heads up . . .

Grace Potter and the Nocturnals are playing on monday the 30th and tueday the 1st out on Nantucket and I highly . . .highly recommend that if anyone can get down for the shows to do so. Such a great time . . . especially with the 4th of July coming up - - - Nantucket will be the place to party.

Hope all is well . . . let me know if you need advice on where to stay and or eat . . . and or drink . . . I am a pro.

Best.

I've been listening to Grace since she and the band were a local act playing the bars around Burlington.....she and the band are from Vermont. I too HIGHLY recommend her...if she comes to your area, check her out, but beware, after hearing her, you'll be buying all her CDs :D

I saw them here in NYC back in February. This is the room they played (but the stage was a little bigger for them). That's a 90X50ft. wall of glass looking out onto Columbus Circle and Central Park.

That's The Allen Room. It's part of Lincoln Center but it isn't at the main Lincoln Center complex, it's on the 5th floor of the Time Warner Center.
