Beep! Beep! Beep!

Post by txaggirl91 »

My dad recently purchased a brand spanking new F150 for his "birthday". It is an XLT with some extras... more than a standard XLT but not everything you get with a Lariat or King Ranch edition... It even has Sirius and being a good daddy, he preset RM for me. :D

Anyway, the one thing he wishes it had is one of those back up notification things. Their Town Car has one and both my mom and dad like having it "just in case".

I'm not for sure what they are called so it is hard to do a search for one. I know the technical name is not "back up notification device". Sister and I think it would be great to be able to find one and get it installed for Christmas.

Can anyone here help me find out what they are called? Or even if I can get one installed?

Thanks!

I'm not endorsing this one, just showing you that they are available.

Mine came with the car and it's my favorite feature for backing into tight spots.

Along with the backup alarm, he might want to consider a sensor that beeps in the cabin when he gets close to objects. I had one in a rental recently and really liked it.

ask the dealer. they have a service department. they should have what you want. and the sirius service, should be free for at least 6 months.
