I get a text message earlier from a friend of mine who lives in London. She was at a Jack Johnson concert in Hyde Park and said Jimmy came out and played with him.

VERY COOL......

I'm going to see JJ next month maybe Jimmy will........
oh wait, never mind it's in Salt Lake......sometimes I forget where I am.

...but JJ is not playing in Florida, where one would think he would have a large market...i was at the show in 05 right after wrigley in boca when JB showed up and played with him.

Dear Jimmy,

When I go to the SOLD OUT Jack Johnson Concert at Red Rocks next month, you have permission to show up for a few songs. You know, to test the best acoustics in America as you prepare for your return to Red Rocks next year!

One could only wish.

That was pretty cool to see. Surprisingly, quite a few Jack Johnson haters here, but I dig his music a lot.

Shame about the background noise but still worth listening to......

wonder if Jimmy took a trip up to Martha's Vineyard after Newport? Jack Johnson is in town tomorrow at Great Woods and I'm wondering if Jimmy will show up?

Heading to see Jack Johnson tomorrow night in Camden. Been waiting for this show for almost 3 years.

I got to hang out with Jack Johnson the other night, and he is a HELLACIOUSLY nice fellow.

There is a music festival happening in San Fransisco next weekend, and Jack Johnson will be there. Other artists include Wilco, Beck, Ben Harper, Steve Winwood, Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers, and the list goes on. I'm glad I will be there.

Go up to the GREEN ZONE area (or the ALL AT ONCE Area, whatever it's called) with all of the environmental booths early and often.

They won't tell you this, but there is almost a 100% chance that Jack is going to play 3 or 4 songs on a small stage there during the 1st opening act.

We were secured in our great seats and suddenly heard tons of screaming and cheering. Sure enough, Jack was up there singing. He'll most likely do this for you guys too. You can get right up front if you are prepared.

He'll most definitely be up there, but it won't be announced because everyone will be there.

nope....didn't see it before the show....dammit!
Oh well, the traffic was hellacious and it took us an hour longer to get there than it should have.....gotta love the two Utah seasons....Winter and Construction....

BUT......love, love, LOVED the show....it was just a great night. Perfect night with just me and my daughter.....
