Take the Weather With You DVD

Post by Volcano5270 »

Jimmy should make a Take the Weather With You DVD for his album. He should look at some songs for that album and make a DVD for it. The songs should be Bama Breeze, Party At The End Of The World, Weather With You, Everybody's on the Phone, Nothing But A Breeze, Cinco de Mayo in Memphis, Reggabilly Hill, Elvis Presley Blues
Hula Girl At Heart, Dukes On Sunday. All of them for live Shows. Maybe all some bonus songs too.
That would make a good DVD of he. I get this good idea after seeing Jimmy Buffett's Scenes You Know By Heart DVD

No, we don't need Party At The End Of The World on it. It's terrible.

Instead of a DVD of just songs from one album, how about finally releasing the Coastal Confessions show, or whatever that one in New Orleans was called? Or even last year's Paris show.

how about just a new album instead of rehashing more old material!! i mean come on, with all the album leftover tracks through all the years jimmy must have albums worth of unreleased material. he should just go in with the band and re-record those if he isnt up to writing right now.

Again - why "re"-record songs that are already recorded? Or do you mean record the songs that he didn't record that he wrote for said record?

The box set showed that he's got leftovers - and that he didn't release them all.

Maybe someday...instead of another goddamn live album he'll release the outtakes, the leftovers, an extra slice of Fruitcake...

COASTAL CONFESSIONS

Yes! Coastal Confessions at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre in New Orleans is the most incredible thing he has done in years. Still no DVD. A shame!

my understanding was they were both going to be released to DVD. I loved the New Orleans show. I thought that was a lot of fun. I heard the Paris show was good also
