A few miles from the office here, there's a railroad bridge that goes over the road in the middle of town. The clearance is 11'6". There are at least 4 very large signs with constantly flashing lights in each direction stating this. It's painted on the road in huge letters in both directions. And the bridge is painted an ungodly bright green. Despie this, at least once a month some idiot trucker gets his/her rig wedged underneath it. I just don't get it - when I go under this bridge in my pickup, I duck - these guys have to be all but eye-level when sitting in these rigs. Comforting to know these tards are out there piloting 80,000 pound missles down the highway next to my family.

My vehicle is a tad over 8 feet tall so I NEVER go anywhere I don't have a 9 foot clearance.......This is my worst nightmare. I refuse to use drive thrus even if I know I'll make it. I would absolutely kill myself if I ever even clipped something....Think how stupid that poor driver is feeling. Wouldn't want his RV insurance rates.
