Peachtree Georgia--what to do?

Post by popcornjack »

A friend of mine (actually the guy who reads Tarot cards at the restaurant I manage) is going there for the first time, and he doesn't know much about it. neither do I, but I figured there'd be some people out here who dao. Any advice on what to do/see/plan for when he's down there would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I can't say there's much to do or see in Peachtree City, it's a suburb of Atlanta, about 30 miles south of the Atlanta airport. Nice lake, and it's a clean town, many sign and building restrictions, most locals travel by golf carts. Golf cart trails are almost everywhere, even cart bridges over the main highways in town. If your friend is looking for excitement he'll have to go north to the big city.

aw come on Steve you know the hopping town of Newnan is down the road.
When they run you out of town make it look like you are leading the parade.

It's close enough to the city that they don't have to worry about recreating Ned Beatty's role...
