HOLY TOLEDO!!!
Another sad chapter in this years edition of M Go Blue football. But as I mentioned after the Wisconsin victory.....any victory this year will be a good victory. But I'm not bailing....still backing the Wolverines!!
Kudos to Okie State, Texas and the Gators for taking care of business in surprising fashion. And I know Husker fan doesn't look for moral victories but I still give them one for playing hard against Texas Tech!
Sparty......You're exactly where you should be at this point in time and for that you deserve mucho credit. Now is your time to EXCEED expectations.

Spurrier to rival Clemson in weaker ACC???PHnSC wrote:I am surprised to that they did it so quick!!! So who do you want as your next head coach??CUparrot wrote:You beat me to it! LOL I was just logging on to post that.PHnSC wrote:Tommy Bowden has been fired at Clemson!!!!

How about Lloyd Carr? But seriously, too bad this job didn't open after last season for Houston Nutt or David Cutcliffe.
Last but not least....Nick Saban or Les Miles...
Heard that Vandy's Bobby Johnson is a former Clemson player/Defensive Coach....Sounds like he would be the front-runner for sure!

The Spurrier to Clemson comment is to funny!! It wont happen. He has said many times that Carolina is his last stop, plus he turned down LSU, Miami, and Bama when they came a calling. If he didnt take those jobs, he sure as hell isnt going to Clemson.
I was thinking Lane Kifflin...

Rumors already are flying the Richrod knows he's over his head at Michigan and is interested in Clemson-leaving Michigan looking again at trying to tear Les Miles away. I dont buy it but you never know.CUparrot wrote:Pffffttttt......Spurrier. With the Univ. of Michigan taking a year off,
, the biggest intra-state game this year will be tomorrow in sunny Mount Pleasant! The Chippewas of Central Michigan taking on those bastar...I mean Broncos from Western Michigan.
Western (4-0) is a slight favorite, but my Chips (3-0) are 13-1-1 in the last 15 at home vs. WMU, so I like our chances. Winner will probably end up playing Letterman's Ball State Cardinals for the divisional title. FIRE UP CHIPS!

I am ready for Saturday this is for sure, and so is the Head Ball Coach! All week he has been very upbeat, and tonight on his call in show he was pretty stoked himself. Said we have the talent, and the ability to beat anyone in the SEC and he has seen the signs in his team that they are ready for the challenge! He had the crowd up all night!!Said Garcia is ready to be the starter and he brings a confidence that no qb at SC has had since Spurrier arrived. The crowd should be pretty jacked up. Everyone Carolina fan I talk to this week is ready to go!! Hopefully we play as good as we think we should! LSU will be ready to play thats for sure!!Dr.Corona wrote:Jason.....Getting stoked up for those Baton Rouge Tigers this weekend?
Another National TV prime-Timer & a chance to move up in the rankings!
Your crowd should be on fire!
I'm hoping we don't embarass ourselves AGAIN THIS WEEKEND against the State College Nittany Lions!

Yeah, I will be there! Got season tickets and the stadium is only a short 10 minute drive from my house! Let me know your plans and we can get together, either the night before or you guys can come over to our tailgate before the game!Bob Roberts wrote:Yes I will be. Gonna be my first time in Columbia. UCONN is tough at home but you really think they would win? Interesting. We are still very much a basketball state but football is gaining a TON of momentum. I hope UCONN can keep Edsall around. They are very well coached.Afternoon Golfer wrote:Bob, if the Vols traveled to UCONN this year who would win?Bob Roberts wrote:Yes I will be. Gonna be my first time in Columbia. We'll be there with a bunch of family, so I don't know yet what all of our plans are going to be. I've booked rooms for the Courtyard downtown Friday and Saturday night, but I may cancel one of the nights if it is either an early or late game. As it gets closer to the game and we find out what time kickoff is going to be we'll get in touch. It would be fun to hook up and hang out!PHnSC wrote:Yeah, I will be there!
