The Phillip Fulmer era is over at Tennessee

Before the season if someone would have told me that the Seminoles would be 6-1 at this point,
I would not have believed them.
I'll take that.

Another big weekend in college football! Texas vs Texas Tech should be a high scoring game. I think I am going to have to take Texas in this one!
Cant forget the Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party in Jacksonville! Florida vs UGA should also be another good one. As much as it pains me to say this, I really hope that UGA wins, but I see Florida winning by 7.
And here in Columbia,SC we have the Big Orange Vols from Rocky Top coming into town. Always a close and fun game to be at. The Vols are fighting for their bowl and coaches life this weekend. I am sure Fulmer will have his team ready for maybe the last battle with Spurrier. Should be a good one, but a close one! I say my Gamecocks win 27-20 but I wouldnt be surprised if it was the Vols winning 27--20! Bob Roberts is making the trip down with family and hope to catch up with him before the game. Safe travels down, and enjoy Columbia!

Think positive Jason.....YOUR GAMERS WILL WIN!!! Gotta protect that home turf.
This is the weekend Big Blue turns it around....Michigan will win today and the rest of the way until that dastardly date of Nov. 22.....when MICHIGAN will rise up and STUN those hated Ohio State Luckeyes & T. Pryor at the shoe.
Then that will get us to the Motor City Bowl so we can be embarassed by another MAC school.

Central Michigan knocks off a Big 10 opponent for the first time in 16 years! Long time comin'
Central Michigan left its best player on the bench Saturday and didn’t miss him at all. Backup quarterback Brian Brunner threw for a school-record 485 yards and four touchdowns, then ran 1 yard for the go-ahead score to send the Chippewas past Indiana 37-34.
7-2 and looking
down at #18 Ball State in the conference standings

Oklahoma University is ranked 4 by a couple, 6 by another one...
at least some Frosh probably got to play on national tv yesterday. :yikes: Nebraska, I'm glad they scored 4 td's tho.
Oklahoma State is in the top ten.
going to get interesting from here to the end of the season.
not that rankings mean much...

San Diego hosts the Holiday Bowl
and usually take the Big 12's #3 team.... OK State could be headed to San Diego!!

Yes it was.
Although I would have preferred a different outcome, my sister went to Texas Tech, so it's all in the family

Thumbs up to the
Z-Man's Boiler's for using their
backup Quarterback to embarass Michigan's D once again!
We could be looking for a different D coach next year.
Kudos to the
Red Raiders from Lubbock as they had the intestinal fortitude to come back and beat
Texas after the Horns seemingly had averted disaster with a late score to go ahead. Okay, we must also play the "luck" card as a Texas D Back dropped a
gimme interception that would have sealed the game for the Horns. Poor kid is probably getting roasted on the spit back in Austin!
Gators.....everything just seems to be going their way right now! And how about Coach Meyer calling the late time-outs to
milk the game and let the Gators savor the drubbing & make the
Dawg suffer on the field just that little extra!
Volunteer fans.......who's your QB? Does it really matter? Is this REALLY it for Phil Fulmer? Who will THE MAN be on the sidelines next year?
Noles.....so close.....but yet so far......Bowden sure has suffered some heartbreaking defeats over the years and this one ranks right up there with the "Wide-Rights & Wide-Lefts".
Indiana...first Big 10 team to lose to
2 MAC teams in same season!
So many great games Saturday........glad I got my yard work done EARLY that day!!!!!

But there's no shame in losing to Ball State and CMU!
Hmmm, the MAC needs one more team to balance the divisions.....
