Glenn Beck gives shout out to Parrotheads

Listening to a Glenn Beck podcast from a couple of days ago and he's talking about people bringing pitchforks and torches to his live show (he had recently joked that people should donate their spare pitchforks and torches so that they could go and storm Congress with torches and pitchforks and remove the politicians).

He said:

I think some people misunderstood the concept of the torches becaus we got quite a few tiki torches. Have these people never seen Frankenstein? Somehow, tiki torches don't really convey "We're mad! We're an unruly mob!"

Tiki torches? Really? Tiki torches? Who the Hell is leading this revolution anyway? Jimmy Buffett? Well, it's good to know that at least we've got the Parrotheads on our side.

Oh man, I heard that too. I was laughing my butt off just thinking of a mob of Parrotheads leading a revolution, marching down a street with tiki torches a blaze, Hawaiian shirts and flip flops, beach comber hats, lei’s, grass skirts blowing in the gentle breeze, people stopping to take a wiz in someone’s azaleas. A Jimmy Buffett revolution, I think that's a fine idea.

Then someone would shout out "But first lets have a beer" and the revolution would be over...

Nothing drives fear into the hearts of evildoers and politicians like a mob of 40 year old men in grass skirts and coconut bras.
