Jimmy Parrish & the Ocean Waves Band will be opening for the Chesney tour stop at the Jacksonville Arena on August 30th!!!

Well, Jimmy and the band won a local radio station competition tonight, and they'll be performing at the local Chesney concert with a chance to go on to touring with Kenny and maybe even getting a recording contract!

What??? no Boat Drunks at STARS??? that sucks.

You all are not the only ones upset that "Boat Drunks" will not be here for Stars.

These guys are awesome, friendly (their mama's raised them right), easy to work with and their music brings so much fun to the crowd.

FYI...what I learned the 1st time I saw the "Boat Drunks"....if they are playing at ritaville in Key West....you need to be there at 12noon and stay put or you will be on the sidewalk looking in...like me.

We most certainly understand why they can't make it this year. They sure will be asked to come back.

What about Jon Frattasio to take over for the Boat Drunks, if you haven't already have a replacement yet? He plays every Thursday up here in Boston. He is great. I don't know if he is already scheduled around the time of Stars because his schedule doesn't go that far yet.
