Yeah, we have it, it just started yesterday and the OttoCals both give it a thumbs up [smilie=coolup.gif] [smilie=coolup.gif]
Fun station.

Much better than the other temporary artist-based station they are running for Coldplay. That got annoying quick.

I gave it a whirl today. Not impressed. Alot of dull songs. And those that werent Kennys where also dull. And I dont know how many times I heard Keg in the Closet, Key LIme Pie, Old Blue Chair and his duet with Uncle Kracker today.

Im starting to lean toward the Kenny haters there is just a little to much borrowing going on from Jimmy.

The bumpers in between songs were very similar in my opinon to RM. I dunno. Just a few quick thoughts.

For all the Kenny lovers please feel to flame away at me.

Gotta love this song though ...

My baby likes to watch me eat her key lime pie

Maybe that's why Renee dumped him, she didn't like the way he ate her pie.

Not a Kenny Lover, but no flames here.
I think the channel gives some needed variety to XM that has been missing. I don't like to listen to all country stations, and there isn't anything really 'tropical', I am not a huge fan of 'TheJoint' or whatever that channel is, so I have been amused by No Shoes so far.

The exception to date was that I really really didn't need to hear Sammy Hagar singing 'Mas Tequila' Sunday morning at 9:30 on my way to church.

I find that a couple shots of blanco makes any sermon a lot less interminable.

That was the problem, it made me want the tequila!!I survived the sermon, regular long-winded preacher was out of town so we got about 20 minutes lopped of the service [smilie=coolup.gif]

I agree it does give it more variety now. Im curious if this channel sticks and with the merger going through whats going to happen.

And im a little lame I like the Joint for the most part. But I have recently discovered the beauty of regae outside of Marley since seeing Toots at Gillette. So its all a discovery.
