I just read that about 30 minutes ago.
Very sad.
I hope to God there's a cure for this horrible disease someday soon.
Prayers & good thoughts for Christina.

Fortunately caught early hoping for speedy recovery. She is one of the few actresses of the younger generation that I enjoy.

Good thing they caught it early. With routine check ups and early detection, this is one of the more "curable" (treatable?) forms of cancer.
Gals, get yourself checked early and often, there's a shortage of good boobs in this world.

Glad she's better
..but it doesn't shock me that someone her age could have to fight this already.
My sister and cousin both have had issues similar to Christina's, and at that same age
They've both been cancer-free for nearly 10 years now...
Ms. Applegate did have a bit of a rep as a Hollywood party girl and reportedly, is still a smoker.
Nothing is set in stone, but you certainly can IMPROVE the odds of cancer-free living with some cleaner living.
It's dangerous enough just crossing the street these days...
