NFL to unveil new code of conduct for fans

Post by Joetown Parrothead »

By Michael McCarthy, USA TODAY

http://www.usatoday.com/sports/football ... titialskip

The National Football League is set to unveil its first "Fan Code of Conduct" for patrons in its stadiums and parking lots, USA TODAY learned Tuesday.
According to a copy of the code, obtained by USA TODAY, drunk and "disruptive" fans can be ejected from stadiums or parking lots without refund — and stripped of their season tickets. The same goes for fans who verbally or physically harass other fans, use obscene language or gestures or interfere with the game by throwing objects onto the field. Fans who become drunk or unruly during pregame tailgating will not be allowed into stadiums

And since no one wastes their money to sit anywhere else, that is going to be one empty stadium.

I got that in the mail.
If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

•"Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, or illegal in nature."

•"Intoxication or other signs of alcohol impairment that results in irresponsible behavior."

•"Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures."

•"Interference with the progress of the game (including throwing objects onto the field)."

•"Verbal or physical harassment of opposing team fans."

•"Failing to follow instructions of stadium personnel."
What the hell are they going to do about the freaking players that are just as guilty as some fans??

This may be a case of infringement - of which constitutional amendment I'm not sure.

The one that has to do with freedom to get $hit-faced in public and make an a$$ of oneself I think.

There goes the tailgating nation . . . :(

The people who caused this to happen are those wine cooler sipping million dollar babies who don't know a touchdown from a touchback. They probably complained that they couldn't hear themselves talk on the cell phone while at the game.
