I am trying to find a version of this song by Buffett for a party. I've heard it a million times in his concerts, but I can't find it in any of my CDs. Does anybody know if he ever recorded it on a CD? Or where could I find an mp3?
Thanks a lot!

I know, it's not his song, but has he ever recorded it? He keeps singing it in concerts, I am wondering if it ever ended up on a CD.

That's just it, he doesn't sing it. It's a recording they play, and as flock said, the recording is by Buster Poindexter.

If you are looking to download the song, just go to any one of of the threads that SunLover posts concert recording in and click the link to "Hot Hot Hot".
Buster actually put out an album about 20 years ago, it was on that. Pretty good album also...

Hasn't JB been using this song for the show intro for about 300 years now?

Just because he didn't sing it live, don't mean you cant use it to kick off your party as well. Have at it!

I realize this thread has ben around a while, but Jimmy has performed Hot Hot Hot live.
And according to the set-list database, several times in 2003, but unless someone was there and can tell us, who knows if it was recorded or an actual performance.

As much as I love this song (It is my ringtone) I realize that I don't know a lot of the words to the song other than Hot hot hot
