With Sheryl heading to Tacoma, I will have the Tiki Deck to grill whatever! I'm thinking a Rib-eye, Sweet corn, and twice baked Sweet Potato and Blackberry Cobbler for Saturday night..
Tonight Brats & beer!

Hubby has trot lines set out in a couple of places, so we usually have plenty of fresh catfish.Joetown Parrothead wrote:VanillaGrl wrote:Tonight on the grill - Fresh catfish with garlic butter and topped with my fresh pico de gallo, corn on the cob. Well tonight, I'll be doing my world (or at least Philly/Camden tailgate) famous 36-hour Marinated London Broil.
Add to that some Jersey Fresh sweet corn and a fresh watermelon (not those imported things) and you've got some great summer grillin.
Tomorrow, I will have the boneless pork loin that has been sitting in the fridge soaking up the flavors from a dry rub I applied last night. I'll probably grill roast some Jersey Fresh red bliss potatoes, carrots and some onion to go with it.
I also have chicken breasts in the fridge that I will likely pound into my soon to be famous spicy Chicken Cordon Bleu from the grill.
And if all else fails, I have some jalapeno burgers in the freezer!
Mmmmmm!

Hey, that's only because ribeyes weren't on sale this week! That's the BEST grillin meal. So you are lucky.Joetown Parrothead wrote:blackjack wrote:Well tonight, I'll be doing my world (or at least Philly/Camden tailgate) famous 36-hour Marinated London Broil.

Last Christmas, my oven broke the morning of and I had 12 people coming over, I grilled a 13lb prime rib, 8lb. filet mignon and a 7lb. turkey breast on my two grills and THAT was great. Prime Rib on the grill is one of life's true pleasures!

On Saturday afternoon we are boiling some oil! Frying shrimp, hogfish, and hush puppies out on the deck. Sides are cheese grits and corn on the cob. I can't wait!!! It should be about a 10 beer process!

Our Christmas meat is always filet mignon and for the last couple of times we have been grilling it and will probably never go back -no matter how cold it is out there!blackjack wrote:Hey, that's only because ribeyes weren't on sale this week! The chicken cordon bleu sounds kind of tasty. I am always looking for something different to do with them...regular chicken breasts on the grill get so blah
