Looking for Party planning ideas!

Post by IrishPirate »

I'm getting plans together for my daughter's baby shower in September. The theme is "Chanson pour les petits enfants". The invitations, with the words to the song, went out this week. I already know what I'm doing for favors, the main concern now is decorations. I do have some ideas but I would love to get some input from you. So get those creative juices flowing and let me know how you would decorate! Thanks!!! [smilie=battingeyes.gif]

The centerpiece could be a small palm tree with baby things hanging from it---pacifiers, diaper pins, bottle brushes, etc.

I think that is what that picture could induce, "Creative" juices.

There has only been one immaculate conception claimed that I know of.

Gotta go with "Moller's" on this one though.

Since you didn't like my Princess Leia idea... How are you going to get the coral and pearls without her?

I'd decorate with stars/moons/planets type things for the Milky Way, maybe pink or blue or other pastel color for the stars & stuff?

I dunno. I don't throw baby showers too often :P

I like Molly's idea, Deb!

and can you recycle any of that Paris stuff from Tammi shower, do you have any of that, might work, a bit.

I love Palm trees, maybe baby palms, baby monkeys, baby parakeets, etc.

Well, for coral and pearls, you *could* hit one of the botanicas in Nawleans and ask for something for Yemaya...but that might not work right either...
