While I'm not happy about it, I'm trying to figure out which phone I want.

+ Who has Verizon?
+ What kind of phone do you have?
+ Love it, hate it?

The comparable phone I get for free doesn't come in pink. :( :( It makes me quite p*** to think about it. I'm displeased. :-?

I'm considering this one
Image

It's the Phone Details: BlackBerry® Pearl™ 8130 smartphone in Pink. I figure I'll finagle a free one somehow.
I use Verizon and have the Motorola M380. Serves the purpose.
I can get the LG5400 or the Samsung 550 for free. While they will "serve the purpose" I'm slightly disgruntled that THE PHONE COMPANY that I work for thinks employees should be completely gratified with free crap phones.

I currently have the Katana II which I'm not exactly weak in the knees for, but my husband has the PC phone and the comparable phone that they are offering him is a joke. He basically uses his like a mini laptop and taps into all the features of it, so it is quite disappointing.
given a choice between the 2 phones I'd opt for the Samsung. I'm a HUGE fan of Nokias and they offer a pale blue Nokia 6205 that you could probably wrangle out of them.

Image

I like small flips since I keep my phone in my pocket. When we upgraded to digital phones a couple of years ago they didn't offer any Nokias so we wound up with 4 RAZRs. Not bad but the battery life is poor. I only TALK on my phone so sound quality and service matter to me. My keets are hoping to upgrade to something with a QWERTY keyboard soon.

If you INSIST on a pink phone they also offer the LG Envy, but it's more than the Pearl when you sign up for a new 2 year contract.

Happy hunting!

I had an LG8350 that I loved.....never had a problem with it....but I lost it. Replaced it with this one:

Pretty basic, but I like it.......and of course, as soon as I got it, we found the 8350.....

My daughter has an LG Voyager and it's very gadgety.....too much for me.

We've been with Verizon for four years.....never a problem with billing, good coverage even in most of the places we've been camping this summer....

The Verizon store close to us is fantastic, great customer service.
I'm a satisfied customer.

Maybe I've just been lucky, I've had LG phones up until this one and I've never had a problem.

The dare is way cool....look at the voyager while you're there.
It's a snazzy little phone.

I think I may get this one.... but it's pricey.

If you want an experience, go to a Jimmy Buffett concert.

Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.

That's pretty cool too, and not really that bad price-wise.

It's not bad for the price but I would not get it without a discount though.

I've had Verzion since before they were Verizon. Real happy with the service and coverage area. I've always had coverage when friend with other services did not. As far as the phones - I currently have a LGVX8350. Not a bad phone.

My LG Env2 should be arriving today.

I like the phone keypad on the front and the slide open Qwerty keyboard, plus music capability. I guess we'll see how the LG works out.

Hubby is getting a VX6800, which is basically a mini laptop that happens to have a phone. Definitely not for me.

Good to know. My only disappointment is that it doesn't come in pink. :( I went for the maroon.
