I am heading to the Steelers home openner and arriving the night before. ANy advice as to bars to visit? Not looking for the dance club type, just a sports friendly pub. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I am sure you mean Sports Friendly? All depends on where you are staying? Do you want to be in walking distance from your hotel or what?

We are staying at a Days Inn approx 2.5 miles from the stadium. I don't mind taking a cab. Just want to do something fun the night before. Thanks for the edit tips as well. My typing was horrible yesterday.

You gotta go to Fatheads on the Southside. Great sandwiches and big variety of beer. You won't be disappointed.
Rum. Helping ugly people have sex since 1762.

Walking distance impossible... driving about 4 miles if that!
FatHeads is a great place!

Thanks for the info. The next two weekends will be rocking. Nissan show this coming Saturday and then the Steelers game the following Sunday.
