I remember Jimmy Carter coming to town with his posse of (mostly) rank amateurs. Foreign policy went to hell (as if it could dive any lower), the economy took a dump, and nobody in the world had respect for the Administration or the Rule of Law.
I'm not in love with McCain, but I see the same thing happening if Obama gains the White House.

But those same arguments would generally be considered to be faults of the current administration, as well. And when he took office, one of his big selling points was the experienced leadership team he had assembled.

We live in John Doolittle's district and it's up for grab since Doolittle had to resign becasue of his business dealings with one Jack Abramhoff So the REP, Tom McClintock, just like Hillary carpet bagged his way from SO CAL and said he now lives in the area. The DEM, Charlie Brown and I'm not making up the name, is running campaign adds running AGAINST Nancy Pelosi's Washington machine. Like Mark Twain said, We have the best goyt money can buy.
CA voted on and passed a law that said we as citizens want the choice for, "none of the above," to be an option on the ballot. IF none of the above won the popular vote, there would be another election. The measure was struck down as un-constitutional.
I don't let it bother me too much and I am looking for a third party to emerge someday too.
But I don't understand why anyone who is running for President would allow the American flag to be portrayed upside down on the DNC credentials.
