** PC update ...... I was able to repair my PC myself by installing a new power supply.
(I *hate* opening the computer tower and messing around in there, but it worked).
No files were lost or corrupted and it boots up just fine once again. That said, I'm still going to purchase a new PC in the next week or two.

This is one of my favorites strips. But my wife will tell you that boobies make me happy.
I'm another computer victim. I had to format the hard drive and reinstall everything last week after Winblows XP wouldn't let me log on (actually I could log on but it would log me off immediately). Fortunately, I was able to copy all my data off the hard drive before I had to reformat.
