Some feedback from a reader from what she "heard in parking lots last month from not very active BNers..."
Maybe another "flashforward" or two will help ..... by hinting and teasing at some of the future storylines involving BN and BNers.
Thanks!
That is very good feedback, and I agree with those people. I do think I should devote more focus on "BN and BNers" ...... I have some good stuff (I hope) coming down the road ...... it just takes time to lay the groundwork sometimes.People said the strip was interesting and funny at first, when it seemed to be "about" BN and BNers. But they lost interest when it drifted to the story lines of your imagination.
I think that's probably different thinking than most of your fans, but I figure since they're not very active, chances are you'd never hear from them.

OK....I read every day..sometimes the very first thing I do before I go to school is read the strip...BUT....I am totally clueless on some of them...I just don't get 'em
(that's when I don't post
) However...I love it! I really enjoyed when you had the BN'ers...it was fun to see who would make the strip next!

It's a fine line I am tap dancing. On the one hand, I want to include as many BNers and BN storylines as possible, because that's a lot of fun for everyone that is included, but on the other hand I don't want to make BN Critters to appear to be yet another hangout just for the platinum-high-posters and "cool kids" ...... I want this lunch table to be all-inclusive ..... no exclusive cliques, ya know?Afternoon Golfer wrote:Really liked it at the beginning but have lost interest since the story lines have strayed. There are only so many BN topics. You are one heck of a creative guy.
I get feedback both ways .... some want more BN focus and yet some feel they are the outside looking in when I include a joke that may be too "inside" ..... the latter appreciate that the strip began branching out a little.
I hope I can find that balance. This is too much fun. I have a management/technical "real job" 40+ hours a week and this allows a certain amount of creative energy to escape.
To anyone on the fence, I invite you to participate and post here at BuffettNews and also over at www.crittervillecove.com and check out the archives at www.bncritters.com.
THIS IS NOT AN EXCLUSIVE CLUB! We want/need/enjoy new friends!
Thanks!
