The kid/phone thread got me thinking.....

Are you a texter?

I resisted for quite some time, but have caved and have become a texter. My hubby doesn't get it and doesn't even know how to open a text (or an email for that matter).....but between me and my daughter and my son....it's texting. Also swap texts several times a day with other friends....

(and NO, not while I'm driving......)

I'm a mad texter. I hate talking on the phone (it's a bizzarre social anxiety thing.) so I text people like a crazy person.

I find myself doing it alot more often. During hunting season, my wife and I routinely go over our allotted amount, shooting texts back and forth while I'm sitting in a tree somewhere.

I'm a texter. Hubby and I do quite a bit. I'm assuming Victoria and I will once she gets that phone.

I'd rather text than talk on the phone. I'm with popcornjack about that social anxiety thing. I'm a huge gabber in person, though.

Only when I have too! It is a lot easier with my I-Phone but I would rather just call or e-mail some one!

Not really. I maybe do 10 texts a month, at most. If I just need to shoot the wife a quick message when I know she's busy or something, or driving, instead of getting voice mail...

We IM quite a bit on the computer during the day though.

And I also have the phone anxiety thing... :oops:

Yes, sometimes I prefer texting over talking to people.

I've become MUCH quicker since getting an LG Ev2, which is like having a mini-keyboard. My thumbs are going to hate me later on in life.

I don't know what the f* it is or how I came about to be that way, but's it's kinda annoying. I'll feel like I'm being childish, and what makes it worse is that if I don't call someone back right away, the more anxious I get the longer I wait.
